I would totally be up for this! My husband just went to the North Slope for 6 weeks  Shocked so I've got nothing but craftin' time after work!!!

if you want me to, i'll cook and sew.

i'd be interested, but i plan on being in mexico from the end of april to the middle of may. if the swap is long enough, then okay. but if not, i'll be busy seeing what all you chicas are up to.

Ohhhhhhhh! So much shopping potential!

haha. we'll be spending most of our time in mexico city, so ya! last time i was there (last year, this time) i had only a day back pack for four months of travel, with a tent a a sleeping bag in it. so everytime i saw something i wanted to bring with me, i was like, well i could buy another bag, but would i want to carry it. the answer (circumstancially, becasue we were hitchhiking quite a bit) at the time was no. but now? hell ya.

je suis riche, mais sans un sous.

you could always mail a package to yourself, thats what i did when i only had a backpack and couldn't hold any more kitchy things.

I would love to do this.  My dad lived in mexico for a while (before i was born) but we have tons of books about mexican arts and crafts that i could get inspired by.

Two questions:

 - would it be a longish crafting period, cause with school and everything, I can't really afford to devote a whole day of a weekend to crafting, I kinda have to break it up into blocks?

 - would non U.S. residents be allowed?
