...108 ways to transform a t-shirt!

got it today at barnes & noble, $14.95.  there's ways to make them into new shirts, and also stuff like bags, skirts, a bikini, rugs, hats, ipod & cell phone cozies, what to do with the scraps, etc etc...even a tshirt wedding dress.

i peeked at it in the store, looked like it had enough interesting stuff in it to make it worth the money, i'll let you know when i try anything from it and my results!

I just got this book in the mail from half.com yesterday and looooove it!  It has lots of great ideas - not like some of the skimpy craft books that have only a couple of patterns.  Plus, in the sidebar of the main patterns there are ideas for variations of the project.

I can't wait to try one of them!

I'm inspired by your results!   Grin

Just picked mine up last night. I saw an ad for it somewhere the day before and just happened to see it next to The Happy Hooker. I am in new craft book paradise!! Great job on your shirt, btw. I'll be tackling at least 1 shirt tonight.

Anyone who knows me knows of my BASKET of metal T's that I hate wearing without cutting up. This book was made for ME, I swear.

this book is rad, but i have to admit that with all the press she's getting (and presumably, all the money!) i'm a little jealous and having a serious, "why didn't i think of that?" moment!!!  sad but true.  it's just that so many people have been doing this, and now it almost seems, i imagine, to the 'uncrafty' world, that she came up with it all on her own.  i don't know.  i'm jealous, god help me!  Tongue

Grin  the book is always checked out in the library so I finally decided to purchase. This book is packed with great ideas definitely worth the $14.95 price. I have a large stock of very huge and very free logo shirts (courtesy of my hubby) so I can't wait to try a project.

Don't mind if I do..

Fell so hard, to make us lose our faith
From what's left you'd figure it out
Still make lemonade taste like a sunny day
