Wow! Those are beautiful! Thanks so much for the tute... I can't wait to get started on one!
Just wondering, what type of yarn and what size hook did you use?

I'm a beginner and can't do that! Those are so cute and awesome...if you want alternatives instead of ribbon you could do a big button on the end or something. Just a suggestion but they're great how they are!!

Your belts may be simple, but they're sooo cute!  They look great, and I love that you chose to put ribbon through the middle of them.  It makes them look really stylish!  They look fun and easy to make, and I'm sure they'd make good gifts! Smiley

what you feel is what you are and what you are is beautiful....

I used 2.0mm hook and I'm not sure what this type of yarn is called  Huh

Yeah, I already gave 2 of them as gifts, and the great thing is that it takes only hour or two to make another one  Grin

wow, eremira!  that is great ... nice job!  you are a fine accidental designer!

I too will try this, probably with worsted or finger weight.  I think the mesh lends itself to finer yarns.

I just joined this group and was delighted to see the crocheted belts you made on your first time to crochet and I thought to myself  WOW!! Would my teen age granddaughters ever LOVE these!!  I think I try these and I am sure I will ..I will use a crochet type ribbon instead of the regular ribbon..You are soo cleaver!!  I give you an A+ girl!! I am kind of new at crocheting myself ..self taught and been at it for 3 yrs..

I kinda, sorta made one. I didn't make it through the pretty petal thing. Once I had fairly even holes I got excited and finished it off. LOL It's the first thing other than a scarf that actually looks like I did it that way on purpose.  Anyway, I don't have any ribbon I like with it yet but ACMoore is having 50% off this week so I plan to remedy that and then I'll post a pic. Thanks again so much for this. I'm too fat to wear it. lol But I'm planning to remedy that, too. First cigarettes, now food. What's next? Air? Ok..whining over.  Grin
