Hi, I'm new here but I've been busy reading for the last week or so.

I've recently been possessed by crocheting.  Here's a medicine bag I made for a friend's mom who was looking for something nice to carry her nitro in.

I made the bag part in 2 pieces and stitched them together with the multi-color fibers that are in the fringe.

That looks great! Love the multicolour fringe.

I'm going travelling soon and that would be cute to carry around- providing no one steals it off me!
How big is it and how would i make it?

THANKS!

It is very small - about 1"x1.5".  I half double crocheted it lengthwise.  It makes more sense to do it as one piece I guess, but I didn't know what it was going to look like when I started, so I did it as two.  Plus I liked that the different color yarns were used to stitch up the sides - kind of brings the whole thing together.  With a much bigger piece, I'd probably work it double stranded so it wouldn't sag in the middle.

A cute and stylish way to carry nitro, and no one has to know what is in it. So much better than just the bare metal cylinders or the little brown bottles.
