I found great day of the week kitchen towels at K-mart a few weeks ago.  (They're part of the Martha Stewart product line.)  When I saw the pretty, colorful bands and the machine-embroidered day, I thought they would be the perfect place to add my own embroidery.  (Every time I look at the carrots, I think there's something slightly obscene about their position - maybe this is where baby carrots come from?!?  teehee)

Here are the four I've completed:

And a close up of the last one because I was really proud of how her eyes turned out:   Grin

Just thought I'd share my latest labors of love!

I am an absolute sucker for vintage look towels and yours are great! What nice stitching! I posted the same bowl of fruit a while back (it's posted on the Patternbee website too)
Post more as you make them, I love seeing them.

The carrots do look...um...happy  Wink

Ahhh, so YOURS are the ones on the Patternbee website.  Your towel was my inspiration and the reason I purchased that transfer set.  Gorgeous work!   Smiley

There is a fantastic website that specializes in reproduction embroidery patterns called Patternbee.  (www.patternbee.com)  They have oodles of fun transfers like the ones I used here.  Now if there were only more hours in the day to embroider!!!
