i love swallows (ha, and swallowing, ZING!).  but since i'm broke-ass and can't afford one of those hip tattoos the kids are sporting, i decided to make a something with a classy swallow on it.  behold.

(please ignore knee hair, i'm too lazy to shave)

full unworn look (don't worry, i had pants on when i took the photo...i swear...).  note the classy polka dot ribbon used as a waistband to cover up....

.....my huge mistakes.

up close on the pretty birdie.  i want to put a big letter I above it, you know, to give the men folk a hint when i'm boozing at the bars. Cheesy

darbu, you're lucky i'm unemployed.
here's a little number i like to call, really bad paper crafting:

and ms mouse, i just kind of free handed the pattern after looking up a few tattoos (on hot guys).  the neck is all weird but it works, right?

Haha.. I really like your tutorial. Very unique = very cool. I know I'm odd... but your paper tutorial is actually really easy for me to understand. I think it's because I work with paper too before I do anything with my fabric just to get an idea of what I'm doing... because, let's face it, most of the time I have NO clue about what I'm doing.  Cheesy

Anyway... I really like your skirt. It looks super great on you... unshaved legs and all (which you couldn't tell, by the way). Haha.. mine aren't shaved either, but I figure I've got a great excuse... it's fall and I need the extra warmth.  Grin

(Oh, and so is your skirt.)

At my lemonade stand I used to give the first glass away free and charge five dollars for the second glass... the refill contained the antidote.

Omg!!  I did the same thing, lol not for a tutorial but to figure out how to cut a circle skirt without making seams!  Folding paper and cutting is an awesome way to do test runs. Kiss
