OMG, completely adorable! I want to make my own now... did you use fishing line for the whisker? how did you attatch them?

I used nylon blending thread for the whiskers.  It comes in two colours, clear and smoke.  The blending thread is just stitched through kitty's face.  I have used a very small drop of diamond glaze where the whiskers come out.  When it dries it 'glues' the whiskers in place so that they don't pull out.  No stitches or knots hold them in, just the diamond glaze.

Oh my...
I love cats
and pirates
This is so great! The attention to detail (beaded eyepatch and such) just finishes it too Smiley

that pink cat and those other white cats are so cute!!! sounds like a pattern worth trying!

your school has a pirate day?!??!?!

NO FAIR !!!! Sad

know what you can do? celebrate a pirate day anyway.  Like national talk like a pirate day on September 19th (I'm serious, look it up).   This past September I wore my pirate costume all day to all my classes. Granted, it is a college campus, people just stare for a minute and go on w/their business.  But try it sometime, it's quite fun.
