So, I made my first iPod cozy, yay!

It would not have been possible at all without this awesome tutorial https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=47661.0

I have to take a moment to say thanks to Craftster and all you rockin' folks for teaching me how to make cool stuff.

I made a few changes from the original tut. I tried to make a snap but couldn't get it to attach (any hints?) and it kept cracking from all the crazy hammering. So I sewed on velcro and a decorative button. The vinyl covering the screen and click wheel got goofy 'cause I didn't know it would majorly crinkle when I turned the cozy from inside out to rightside out. . . I blew it with a hair dryer and it helped somewhat. Also, I found that sewing the vinyl made it pucker, so maybe next time I'll try glueing it on.

Well, here it is!!

I really really really would love to have Interweave Knits Spring 2007 for those Eunny Chang entrelac socks. . . Does anyone want to swap for it?! I have yarn, I can sew, embroider, knit.

Thanks jasfitz! The fabric is from a very cute shirt that my stepmom got in London that was too big. . . So now it's fun for small projects.

thanks also cosmicjacuzzi! I had a rio cali for a while but was lucky at christmas to get the "real thing" now I'm paranoid about losing/hurting it. . .
