I never sent my information to you.  Just a PM saying that I would be interested to check it out once a FULL post was made.  Would it be possible for you to put the required info inthis post so that I can decide and see if I want to sign up?

I thought you had decided to do this by e-mail, rather than as a printed package --- guess I missed that change!

Hi princess_me,

Since this swap is over, I can't do anything about it. But next time you do start a swap, please post more instructions and information. Re-read the swap guide, and follow the instructions for posting new swaps.

Next time maybe include more information about what types of recipes to send, levels of "difficulty", how you want people to contact you with the recipes, (if email - what format?). There is lots of information you can include to prevent any confusing from swappers, as there have been a few people confused.

Thanks for the good advice, Lia.

The only thing I would stress is the value of reading both the SWAPPING ETIQUETTE and the SWAPPING GUIDELINES before posting any new swap. These guidelines provide valuable information for both swap organizers & participants and ultimately save everyone needless confusion and/or frustration.  Wink

Princess_me has asked me to take over this swap, since she's a little overwhelmed with other stuff at the moment.

So, could everyone participating please e-mail me at sugar_free_candy_girl@yahoo.ca with your recipes? Either Word or plain text is fine; I'll compile the recipes and send them back in a Word document. (If you don't have Word, let me know and I'll use another format.)

I'm looking for four or five recipes from each person: one appetizer, one entree, one side dish, and one dessert, plus (if you want) one additional recipe that you just can't help but include. I'd suggest we aim for recipes that we're actually likely to use --- if you've prepared it more than three or four times yourself, then it's probably a fairly attainable level of difficulty, and something we'd all enjoy making.

As for the timing, could we try to have all the recipes submitted within the next two weeks, by July 10? I'll have a couple of days off at that point, and will have time to do the compilation.

Does that all sound fair and reasonable?

p.s. If anyone else out there is interested in joining, even at this late date, I can't see why we can't accommodate more people, especially since this is all happening by e-mail so there are no postage of copying costs... If you'd like to join in now, e-mail me!
