Knit Core, I have gnome pj's too! They're the winter flannel ones that were sold at Target-  I have to pick up the summer set next. One needs a gnome pj wardrobe!
As long as we're revealing our nighttime wardrobe, I, too have the gnome pajamas from Target!  That gnome is a busy guy...I like him in Spain, at the bullfight (but I don't care for bullfights).

thanks for the nice post, Nutella.  If it makes a difference with your recipe, those split peas are actually FRENCH lentils!!  I had no idea!  I went to a natural food store to match the type of bean (by color...I'm not much of a cook), and lo and behold, the sign said they were French!  So, I bought 3 lbs.  But I digress...

The painting I did is a cool paint-by-number kit.  I got 2/3 done and then started to panic with all of the mixing of colors and tiny details, so I invested in the mega-pack of Sharpies (24 fab colors!) and finished the painting with ease.

I need to take pics of the wonderful items that Nutella sent me.  I'll post them very soon.

I'm sad that all this fun is coming to an end!  Thanks to everyone for making this a great swap.

I'm unable to post pic right now cause I don't have my own computer to upload them to, but I got a wonderful package from Knitnkitten  last week.
A great amelie stencilled shirt -her first, an adorable set of stitch markers with Mr. gnome photoshopped into various european trip photos of hers-  along with a Niagara Falls one of course - since we share that connection. There was also a mini bottle of brandy with a plum cake recipe- a la Amelie.
Thanks so much it was a really cute package!

Sorry I've been absent! Can't wait to chill with you all again Smiley

Does it seem weird that more people haven't received? I guess this is my first, but I'm so excited to see what everyone gets--the anticipation is killing me!

Lots of packages are in the mail, mine for example; I sent a week late and it has to travel from Virgina to Australia, suspense!

KC Gal, I remembered to take a couple pictures before I sent, so here's a group shot of all the items!

The items that I really *made* are the necklace, bracelet, and earrings. I stained and painted the box.

Of course, figuring out how to make old-fashioned paper chain dolls was really fun! I'd never done it as a kid! Hint: use wrapping paper- you can get the longest chains that way!

Here's the playlist for the mix cd I put together:

* Everyday   Buddy Holly   The Best of Buddy Holly
* Andalucia   Pink Martini   Sympathique
* Only The Good Die Young   Billy Joel   Greatest Hits Vol I (1973-1978)
* Sympathique   Pink Martini   Sympathique
* What The World Needs Now Is Love   Jackie DeShannon   My Best Friend's Wedding
* Dans Les Bras D'un Loup   Paris Combo   Attraction
* Better Things   Dar Williams   Out There Live
* Mais Que Fait La Nasa?   Paris Combo   Attraction
* At My Most Beautiful   R.E.M.   Up
* Si Mon Amour   Paris Combo   Living Room
* Ice Cream   Sarah McLachlan   Fumbling Towards Ecstasy
* Je Suis Sourde   Paris Combo   Living Room
* The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy)   Simon and Garfunkel   Greatest Hits
* Traits De Caractère   Paris Combo   Attraction
* Here Comes The Sun   The Beatles   Songs of Soulstice
* Homeron   Paris Combo   Living Room
* Let My Love Open The Door    Pete Townshend   Grosse Pointe Blank

tickle_me_ally received my package & said she could post pictures or I could since I took some before sending.  So, here's what I made her!

Amelie Trinket Box - I decoupaged this box with red mulberry paper (inspired by amaryllisroze's shrine boxes).  Amelie and the "nobody's little weasel" are made out of shrink plastic.

Gnome Pillow - "It's Better to Help People Than Garden Gnomes.  ~Amelie Poulain"

Some Eiffel Tower Fabric and some French Lavender Soap(well the lavender oil used for this batch of soap was actually from Sequim, Washington, but I had to keep with the Amelie theme, right? Wink)

This swap was so much fun! Bring on round 2!   Grin

I was just checking out everyone's stuff because I dig the movie and look what I found! You're getting
really good, anna!

All of my photos are hosted at Flickr.
