Hey I couldn't wait to get home and post this!

Today I went to Alexandria (in Sydney) to Ron Chudy's Beadhouse and Casting
www.beadhouse.com.au for all you jewelry supplies at quite reasonable prices too!
Honestly you could spend all day in there and not see everything!
After I spent a fourtune in there I went down the road and round the bend and back around the bend and then back down the road and round the bloody twist! Country girl in the city on her own without a street directory, need say no more! Tongue Cry Huh Anyway I went to Marrickville, however you spell it, to Hut 8, 142 Addison road. They have all sorts of things waiting to be recycled into something worthy of craftster! Heaps of different materials, paper, wood, furniture, odds and ends and bits and pieces. For dirt cheap prices! Today I got myself some cute little velvet boxes, a box of 12 crochet needles and a rather large handful of metal stampings all for $4.50 The metal things are sooooooooo cool! Perfect for Pirate jewelry. Will post a pic when I clean them up.
If you can get to Marrickville you gotta check this place out! There is so much crafty potential in there, and it's great recycling too!  Grin and there is supposed to be markets there every Sunday too.

Your just jealous cause the voices only want to talk to me!

Cool Moobaa sounds like you ended up at Reverse Garbage in Marrickville - Very cool place to pick up all sorts of odds and ends and it changes all the time. There's one somewhere out penrith or Cambpelltown way too...

And I hadn't heard about the place in Aelxandria but I am going to head out there for a look next Saturday I think!

Can't wait to see your pictures!!

Beadhouse and Castings is my local store for jewellery findings. I buy a lot of beads there as well It helps that I like a 15 minute walk from there.

I know others who have raved about Hut 8 as well. I really should check it out as well.

moobaa, you mentioned ron chudy to me in an earlier post, thankyou so much!

there are like 50 types of jump rings in that place!

i pity the fool who pays top dollar for jewellery they can easily make.
