Just not enough hours in the day to do craft

This is the second journal I have made.  Boy that journel making is addictive.  Just about as addictive as every other craft that I do.  LOL.

I printed out pages from my computer with all the swap info that I need, then used coptic stitch to bind the pages.  In all, it has 140 pages to write on.  Size 22cm by 15.5 cm.

Any way here are the pictures.

That is an awesome idea!  I love the dragonflies-- and the way you set up your pages with your avatar!

Did you follow a tutorial or did you wing it on your own?  I am trying to psyche myself up to create a journal but really need to find some directions first I think.

I used a tutorial.  This one

It is a great tutorial.  Lots of photos. I did a few things different than the tutorial for this journel but this is a great tutorial for giving you the basics.   Book binding is not that hard.  You can make a journel in a day.  The thing that takes the time is allowing the glue to dry at each stage.

Gorgeous swap journal! I especially love the ribbon bookmark! You always know which swap(s!) you're working on! Great work! I might have to try bookbinding myself!
