I finally finished and I'm excited so I have to share this hat I made for a friend (his head is bigger then mine so it fits more normally). All natural dyes on blue face leicester (details on my blog), spun up as singles and knit from the top down without a preset pattern. The brim was an odyssey, knit then felted, then cut because it wasn't the right shape and finally needle-felted in place. My favorite part is the the needle felted monkey head on the top of hat which you can't see in the pic.

Lovely hat and your glass knitting needles are simply breathtaking!  Have you considered glass crochet hooks???

Wow!  That's really great, and I love the warm, earthy colors.
