I've been knitting for a year, but it's always been simple scarves and hats up until this last December (which has admittedly been entirely Bor-ing).  Over my winter break I developed a true passion for knitting, and went nuts with 15 projects.  here are some of the highlights.

I started with mittens:

then a felted purse for my aunt (the actual color is amazing):

then a hat for my friend (which is baby alpaca.  ahh.):

I got jealous of her hat so I made another one for myself, using the leftover yarn and some pink soft acrylic my friend generously gave me:

I practiced for the socks I'm making my dad on baby-sized ones:

and I learned how to make a simple cable on an adorable hat for my cousin:

I also made a bunch of scarves and hats as presents, but those are all being worn right now.  hopefully.

All very cute! I love the felted bag.

Once I knit myself some mittens in wool, and after a season of use they had felted up so tight that I couldnt wear them.
