Who wants to sleep with the fishes?

I'm thinking of making amigurumi but want something totally different I never saw on the 'net. With a head and body base pattern I already wrote, I don't know what kind of animal to make. Suggestions? I'd like the animal to be something not seen before (or rarely seen) in amigurumi.

I just take the base pattern of another amigurmi and tweak it to my taste.

I personally have not seen a kangaroo yet. I've always had a fond spot for kangaroos.

I also have a fond spot for zebras, but that might be kind of hard to do.

Did you see the kiwi on the other thread at : https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=77865.0 ??

Or, check out the awesome dragon by angry angel at http://flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/

If you can figure out a pattern similar to either of those, I will gladly trade/buy a copy from you!!!!

If not, how about a wallaby? platapus? starfish? puffer fish? dingo? emu? boa constrictor? aardvark? armadillo? jellyfish? vole? guinea pig? poison tree frog? sloth? mosquito (yuck)? Otter? baboon?

look around you and see what you see that inspires you - if you want an animal - turn on Animal Planet.  Maybe it will get the ball rolling.
