i just couldnt bare to throw out 2 of my favorite shirts that got too small..they had good graphics on them so i cut them into different shapes depeinding on the graphic, sewed them into pillows, and voila...im still happy.
one is a paul frank and the other is a from Creature of the Black Lagoon.

I just did the same with a baby T I wore...well, eons ago. It makes a cute decorative pillow (7x10") and was my second sewing project!

Everything that makes up the pillow is completely reused:  an old T-shirt, old embroidery cloth, a piece of canvas from a chair I no longer have, and stuffing from a shabby pillow! I also recently made a set of three pillows from corduroy trousers.

those pillows rock! the paul frank is my fav.

my paul frank shirts have been washed so many times that the pictures are really worn out too. might make fun pillows though. 'cept i'd be afraid to cut them up.

YES!! I've also made one. I'd post a picture but it's back at my mom's house.

It was during the Great Purging of 2001, when I convinced my mom to get rid of all of the clothes from decades past. She had this really cool NY t-shirt that had some stains but I couldnt bare to see dumped. I wrapped a travel pillow with it and the cool thing is, it was the softest pillow EVER. Now, I'm married and thinking of raiding my husband's way old beat up shirts... buaahahahahah  Grin

...btw... NICE WORK! that "creature from the black lagoon" one.... bitchin!
