Sooo.... I never got a thank you note from this swap, but when hertrigger asked me if I wanted an angel, I said, "no." I mean, the craft was optional anyway, so... it's not like I really got "flaked" on, right? My partner's note probably just got lost in the mail... no biggie.

This past weekend, I met TheBon in person. And she hands me a bag of goodies -- it's a surprise angel gift! Hertrigger sent out the call and TheBon responded, so I got these totally awesome etched glasses with tomatoes on them (I have a tomato-themed kitchen -- they're perfect):

So then I get home from my trip and there's a mysterious envelope waiting for me. I open up and Surprise! Lasandri is also my angel?! WOW. I didn't even expect one angel gift, let alone two. I'm not sure how it happened, but I'm absolutely thrilled with what she sent me, as well:

She says that they're "handmade but not by [her]."

Thank you, Lasandri! Thank you, TheBon! Thank you, Hertrigger for finding me two swap angels!

Meanwhile, how crazy is swapping? Now I feel like I should send them both some stuff back... maybe I will! "Thank you for the 'thank you' craft!" "Oh... thank you for the thank you for the thank you craft!" etc, etc.

I live on the west coast. She lives on the east coast. We discuss crafts in between. Right here: Trans-craft-inental.
