Does it make me a shmuck, that I was at first confused by the above conversation?
Or am I just a piece of jewelry?

......*head explodes*.

So, staring in a mirror with elaborate jewelry makes you a schmuck? Grin

Kind of harsh for a little girl.

Thanks for sharing the designs. Intriguing!

schmuck = jewelry

My dad said 'schmuck' meant something offensive.  Undecided I don't know who told him this, though. =/

well, it actually means just "jewelry" in german, but i know it can be offensive in (american) english, to which it came probably via yiddish, i guess.

sorry if i offended anyone!

Been dazed and confused/For so long it's not true

 Haha...I'm not offended.  Smiley

I love German schmuck! Especially perlenschmuck! Sometimes I do Google searches in German, and it amuses me a bit to type in the word "schmuck", but I know the results will be lovely jewelry---not "silly, stupid people".  Cheesy

 Have you made any pieces from this wonderful book yet? The book looks like so much fun. I am jealous!
