Anyone interested?  There is supposedly a SnB in Allston, but it seems to be dead.  I'd love to meet some people, hang out, and knit or craft anything else that is easily transportable.

There's a neat cafe in Brighton Center called Cafénation where we could meet, but there is a whole slew of other possible places up and down Comm ave on the Green B line.

Anyone out there?  Hello?  Smiley

**Edit**

We've formed a group!  We're meeting on Monday nights from 6-8 at Cafénation in Brighton Center.  PM me if you'd like more info!

I'm in Cambridge.  If we meet at a place I can park, Brighton isn't hard for me to get to.  My schedule is wonky, but I would love to give a new SNB a try.  (I have gone to the group that meets at Circles once, and it was really fun, but that's a bit far for me to go each week.)

I could also come into Cambridge if that is more convenient for people.  The 86 bus connects Brighton and Cambridge, and it's faster than the T.

I think there are some lots in Brighton Center, along with meters...

There are supposed to be a bunch of SNB's in Cambridge, but I have never gone to one.  I think there was a new one started recently in Inman.

Yes, there is an Inman Square SnB Wednesday nights at 1369 Coffee House.  I have yet to go, although I live nearby.  There's also a Tuesday night SnB at Peet's in Harvard Square, and a Wednesday night SnB at Redline (bar) in Harvard Square.

I guess I'm just lazy, I was kind of hoping to get one started in Brighton.  Roll Eyes

I'm still interested in coming down there.  I have a friend from college who lives in Brighton, who is also a knitter, maybe I could get her to come along.

I've been talking to a few other people on the yahoo snb-boston group, and we're going to try a meeting on Monday nights from 6-8 at Cafénation in Brighton center.  We're starting tomorrow and would love to see you there!

Damn, I have a scheduling conflict, so I'm going to have to pass on this week.  Maybe next week. Glad you got something going!

Well, with the weather as it is, I shall have to see if it clears up.  Darn winter.

I sort of know how to knit, so it'd be great to get some insight from real live knitters. Is this accessible by T? I live in Kenmore, and I think the 57 bus goes through Brighton... I don't think I can make it today though.

Hey quarkiegirl-

The 57 stops right out front (literally!) of the cafe we meet at.  We'd love to have you join us!

I'd be more than happy to help you with knitting questions (should you have any) but I'm a newish knitter myself.  However, we have a member named Lillian who has been knitting since she was 7 and already offered to teach anyone who came to the meeting.

So come!  Smiley

Sweet, thanks Lolo! I'll have to keep an eye on my schedule for next week, and hopefully I can come.
