I am going to start a stall at the Trewman Brewery Sunday upmarket in London, selling a range of crafty stuff e.g handbags, charm bracelets, shrines etc.... is there anyone out there who would be interested in collaborating?

Having a market stall is so much fun and its an awesome community of people. I used to have one a year ago and then stopped and now I want to start again. But it would be a lot more fun andf more practical doing it with another person!

It would basically just be one day a week - sundays.

Let me know if anyone is interested!

I live kinda near London in Richmond (do you know where that is?)  I would reali love to run a market stall, I've done a few craft shows in the past but never a market stall, sounds like fun!  I make jewellery and greetings cards, and I might start selling some purses and clutch bags too.  I desperately need a way to get rid of all my made stuff!!!

Ohhh and this is my first Craftster post yay!  I've been lurking for months, but only just got round to joining!

Luv, Lili xxx

Oooh I *heart* York. I live in Eaglescliffe, its near Yarm, about 40/50 ish miles from York I think. I was there at the weekend actually and went to this little 'craft' fair and was so gutted. It was just basically a jumble sale. I would have loved to have seen the faces of the little dusty old ladies if I turned up with all my goodies to sell! Places like this need a huge  injection of punk rock and youth don't u think! I would love to do a market but I haven't done anything like that before and I would b so disheartened if my stuff didn't sell. Have you got much experience doing markets/ fairs etc, sarahjayne?

NO experience whatsoever to be honest!
I really fancy doing it though! Thought it'd be nicer to do it with some others for my first time!
I think I'd be disheartened too if my stuff didn't sell at all!

I'm in Hull, so still quite a way off from York. I just have a feeling that York is a suitable place for us crafters to go! I do mainly jewellery but have been tampering with cushion covers and handbags. I was thikning about doing a stall one weekend nearer summer just to see how it went.

Hi There

Im based in Greenwich London and i have looked into having a stall in the arts and crafts  market in the summer.. but as yet not had much time to delve any deeper....
and so i`d be very interested in selling my items on a joint stall

I make textile cards and fiber artwork which are sold in Greenwich and Notting hill and I sell at "card parties"

what price ranges are you selling your work for?

also what would you be wanting with regards to rent/public liability insurance??
i have not heard much about this market stall is it more clothing or crafts or a general market??

I'm in York and was thinking about doing a stall soon at St Williams College craft fair, but I'd be interested in collaborating on a stall at the market as well. I make jewellery too though so I don't know if you were looking to do it with someone with a different craft. Drop me a line if you're interested anyway  Smiley
