i've been thinking about knitting a band for my b/f for quite a while...  but i'm not sure who to knit...  or when i'll find the time amongst my other hundred projects... but i hope you find someone else to join you...

I was just watching the grammys...thinking I may need a knit Bono.  Not sure what one would do with a knit Bono, but it would be cool.  He could sit on my desk and watch me do work.

I think my summer goal will be to knit Malice Mizer, the Japanese visual kei band shown below.

Because frankly, that's the closest I'll ever come.

This might be fun.  I don't know how I'd knit though.  My favorite rockstar changes every week.  Well sort of.
I'd feel sort of bad about knitting a rockstar that was no longer with us too.

Is anyone still active on this knit-along? I'm a hardcore knitter, however a depression has kept me from knitting since January! I'd like to do something that is fun and quick so I can be motivated to get back into knitting again. I'd actually like to do www.yeastradio.com's Madge since her's and other's podcasts kept me sane thoughout my changing dep. meds. anyone interested?

I'll post again as soon as I get started...

well i figure someone someday will need some advice for this...so in order to make a dress i added on more rows to the joan jett pattern.

I'm working with cotton yarn left over from when i was obsessed with making dish clothes (which if you havent made any yet...they are great for making while watching tv and then moms roomates etc. take them and love them) so the cotton yarn doesnt seam together well, but I plan on making a small sweater to go ontop of the dress and I hope that it will hide everything well.

now all I need is some fiberfill in order to stuff her and begin the hair and accesssories!
