Why do I feel like I'm about to step onstage in my underwear (and not cool t-shirt underwear like y'all are making, either).

Here is a handbag I made from a pattern posted here, which I've since lost track of (I'm excited about bookmarks!!).  The orange and green upper fabric is from the 60's... really fabulous in its daisy-ness.

If you designed this pattern, would you please leave a comment so I can thank you properly...

Thanks for looking Smiley

That's a cute handbag, love the fabrics you used, and it's very well done.  Smiley

More!  More!

And hoping for an early death you swam so far you lost your breath, and struggling in the ebb and flow I took your hand, but you let go...
And now the ocean fills your lungs, and now you've got what you had come for, resting peaceful as you sink to drown under a sea of strangers.

Orange is my least favorite color, but I absolutely love it on this bag!  Awesome job! Smiley

What are the dimensions of the bag?

You know... orange is not my favouite colour either.  But the fabric was just so, well, cheery... it kept calling my name.

The bag is 7" high, 7 1/2" wide at the bottom and 7" wide at the top.  The base (which is reinforced with a piece of stiff plastic) is 7 1/2" by 3".  Just big enough for a wallet, cell, and keys.  I really like the shape, especially with the bottom reinforced.

I sewed up a bunch in different colours for Christmas presents, and really enjoy making them.  I'll have to invest some time trolling around here for the pattern.  Must be based on this bag:

but it seems that I've altered the proportions and method along the way.   In any case, much thanks for the wonderful bag design!!

Orange IS my favorite color! I love the purse. It looks very professional and I would scoop it up in a minute. Smiley
