Hi!

I'm hoping someone with more language skills than me can help me out tremendously by translating a couple of lines from a pattern for me.  I just got a book with a symbol I've never seen in any of my other books and my husband, who has enough knowledge of Japanese to usually help me muddle through, is stumped, too.

The scan is below.  It would be great if someone could translate the first few lines, too, but I'd mainly like to know what the part beginning with "o=" says.

Thanks in advance for any help you wonderful craftsters can provide!

Amy
