This bag is modified from the SnB pattern for "laptop bag".  I changed the dimensions so the bag was narrow and deep as opposed to  short and wide.  I also threw out the stripe pattern in favor of my own intarsia design.  I added a zipper, but not the lining yet--thanks for looking!

Oh, yeah, the name "Jinx" comes from  my color palette inspiration--the beer bottle label from "Jinx" beer from Magic Hat Brewing Company!

That rocks! I like the colors too. I'm assuming it is wet felted? Did you stitch the strap on? Sorry for so many ?- I needle felt and wonder about the construction of the wet felted things~ Very cool.

Very nice! Much nicer than stripes! I'm into intarsia and felting myself in this period! Did it shrink much?

Thanks for your comments!
Yes, this is "wet felting"; you knit the whole thing up extra large using an animal fiber yarn, then basically shrink it on purpose. I ran it through my washing machine 4x.  I estimate it shrunk somewhere around 35-40%.  The intarsia shaved a couple of years off my life, but I'm pleased with the results.  Thanks again for looking!

Nice choice for the colors.  That is by far my favorite Magic Hat label.  I so wish they sold it here in MN.  We had to buy a bunch when we were in vermont for our honeymoon and now we're hoarding it.
