Hi! This is my first post, so feel free to let me know if I've messed up somehow...
I've been working on an altered book about Toronto for the last year or so, and it's finally coming together. This is a spread I just finished about the Royal Ontario Museum. I really like how it came out, even if the photo is a bit fuzzy.
This spread is loosely based on Queen Street West and the "Fashion District"

Hope you like it!

Very very cool.  I've got three books on my desk right now on altered books.  What kinds of glue and paint did you use?

Acryllic gloss medium was my glue and the bass for a lot of the thin coats of paint. I have a pretty random range of acryllic paints, but mostly Liquitex. The Queen Street page also has a layer of tulle over it secured with gloss.

Your museum page is awesome. I've tried my hand at altered books and anyone who finishes theirs are awesome.

Oh, I really like the Queen W page, and the varied nature of the ROM is captured well. Smiley Lovely.

Lovely! I'm doing an altered book about Italy at the minute. I really like your museum page.
