Hello all!
I've been lurking for quite some time now, and thought I might as well jump in and post. I have a ton of recent FO's, but this is the only one with a pic available at the moment (I'm incredibly bored at work!) I'm a bit intimidated by all of the incredible talent on this site! Oh well -here goes!

I knit this hat for my cousin's new baby. My daughter (my official hat model) helped me size it. This was a first attempt at designing, and the third attempt at this particular hat. It still isn't quite what I had in mind, but I still think it came out pretty cute. Any thoughts?

(Sorry, I don't know how to post pics on here. Suggestions definitely welcome! I'll post more very soon)

Very cute! Hat and baby both.

Here's your pic. To post them in the actual message click on the insert image button and paste the image address between the two sets of brackets. If you need more help feel free to PM me and I'll try to help.

sc00biesnax, this hat is far too cute for words. Now that I've got a (friend with a) baby to knit for, maybe I should try designing my own hats. This one's great inspiration.

Thank you all for the positive input, and thank you so much craftykate for helping me get the pic up! Now that I've finally de-lurked and know how to post pics, I'm inspired to post more of my FO's -though I'm frantically trying to finish up my Christmas knits, so it might not be until after those are finished too.

The hat is gorgeous, and so is the model!
