Hallo! I'm new here, but I've been making stuff forever. Just thought I'd share some of my latest work since I had to take a ton of pictures for my portfolio (applying to college, wish me luck!)

My bud Lea modeling a neat little pleated/lacey wrap skirt thingy I made for her. It goes around your waist twice, and you can wrap it different ways for different effects.

The back (though it really doesn't have a back and front)

My other bud Jenny wearing a flap-hat I constructed with much trial and error. Who knew that cardboard might be a bit problematic in a sewing machine? It has a little buckle on the other side and can be secured under your chin if you are flying a biplane or some such.

^^^Both of the two above were part of my 'steampunkish' collection...there was also a neat corset-piece, but I lost the photo.

And Jenny one more time, with a ruffly, pooftastic skirt inspired by lolita lines--but with a bit more color!

These are really great, as is the idea of steampunk fashion.  And your friends are cute.

Bonne chance with your college apps. I really love the first skirt. Is your avatar picture of you? Because if it is, I'm fairly certain I've seen you around LJ.
