Woohoo! Finally done. All those little cables took a surprisingly long time, but I think it was worth it. Actually watching the cables grow was quite enjoyable, and I liked having tiny seams to do at the end instead of grown-up sized ones. Just in time for my friend's baby shower this Saturday. All that's left is to find the perfect buttons and do some touch-up steaming. I would definitely recommend this project. The directions and charts were clear and error-free.

Yarn: Online Trend Collection Linie 21 Marly (via Elann)
Fiber: 100% Superwash Merino Wool
Size: 12 mos.

Thank you for making my day!  That sweater is beautiful!  Any chance of getting a pic of it worn by the baby?  Please tell us of the parents' reaction.  Oooooo!

Now that I look at it, I want one for me.  In my size.

Exactly.  I never would have looked at this twice, until I saw it in this fuschia color.

That is fabulous!  The cables and collar look so great!!!  Hopefully that baby won't grow out of it too quickly....
