you are so welcome!  i am glad you like them!  i saw that you are "the vintage/thrift store master"...so i made both pouches with thrift and vintage fabrics!

I do love vintage fabrics!  I'm so in love with the pink fabric you used; it's adorable.  I stalk second hand stores, hoping to find fabric.  At least here, people understand.  My bf just looks at me like I'm on crack Wink

Snacker received, and asked me to post photos of her new circular needle case.

Its red and black, felted, with needle felted details to match the awesome lining fabric I found. (Which I did the whole thing around)

There is also a small plastic snap on it.  I tried to find something better, but my only other option for something tough enough was magnetic, and when I started to try it out, it attached to my metal needles and that didn't make much sense. Now that she's received, I'm going to post my first failed attempt that I think I recovered.  I learned bags are best if you felt them AFTER assembly.  Before and there is sometimes no amount of blocking that will get the shape you knit them in...

It is so beautiful!!!  Thank you so much, greenveggie.

My needles are already in it.  I even left it out on the table to admire it everytime I walk by.

The pics don't do the lining justice.  The circular needles are having a party with the lining while the knitted outside stands guard. Wink

I sent arco.iris her package on Saturday, and I can't wait until she gets it!  As soon as she does, I'll post pics!!  She'll get her second part as soon as I get her e-mail address!  I hope I can figure out how to put a picture of that on here...

Also, cutout's gift is chugging along and should be sent by this weekend (barring any problems)!

Yay international gift giving!

ETA: I forgot to mention that I should be getting a package soon from batgirl and I'm super excited!

I want to check the mail every day now, not be at work...

I made this tote bag last night that i'm really proud of, so I wanted to post it. Since I made it with fabric that PinkMafia gave me for this swap, I thought this would be an ok place to show you all how awesome this fabric is.

I didn't get a pic of the lining, but it's dark green, and it has a poket made from the dot fabric.
thanks PinkMafia!
