FunkySkunk, I definitely used your suggestion and put it into play.  I sowwy if you feel like I bucked on you  Wink

But, I suppose Norfolk/Ghent is probably a pretty central location.  So far we have 2 from the peninsula, 1 from va beach, and 1 from norfolk.

More people!

sorry if I sounded all BIOTCHY!!! (lol) I had cold med. in my system (it makes me weird).

I'm gonna try to bring someone too. She's Norfolk also. She works Sundays though (evenings) so, hopefully we can meet afternoon-ish

As far as I know June 4th is good stuff.

If Norfolk is ok with everyone, we should pic a time & place. San Antonio Sam's (on Colley) isn't expensive or we could do No Frill Grill (a little more than Sams, but very crowded on Sundays)
or if Norfolk is bad there's always other places.

I was thinking either pretty early (to avoid the church crowd) or possibly mid afternoon (again, to avoid TONS of people)

I'll check back later.....

Well, Sams is a "Texas" style place....they serve those free chips & Salsa when you sit down (like Mexican places)
very good Sandwhiches, mexican pizza, & Veggie dishes too.

No Frill is what my boyfriend calls "California Food". They have really good EVERYTHING. Chicken, Salads (which are HUGE) etc.  more selection for the vegetarians (my BF's mom is one, so we have to scope these things out)

later is ok.......
I can bring my friend a different time since she works Sunday nights, no biggie.

I was thinking later, like evening sometime, but it doesn't really matter really to me.  As long as its past 1 or so.

The restaurant doesn't much matter to me either.  I've never eaten at any place in Ghent, but I have been inside sam's for their atm to take money to the naro Smiley  i say we go to the place that has a big cozy table for us to mingle at.

I am going to be moving to the Hampton Roads area in Jan. and was wondering if there are any goods LYS around? Would also like to hear about the Suffolk area since we are planning on buying a house there....
