I am usually found on the spinning board, but have just started needle felting and I love it.

This is about my 3rd thing I have made, not including a couple of balls and flowers I tried first!

It is going to be a brooch for a friend.  I really like how easy it is to make something so pretty from needle felting.  I also made this:

A flower!

Am I doing it right do you think?

hello Hello!  I love those - the swirl on the top one is pretty, and I love the colours on the lower one.  I love your work - makes me want to come visit you York spinners and learn new stuff!

poppysmum I've been pottering around the needle felting boards today, and there's some amazing work out there!

hello.mango I knew I had seen you on craftster as well as LJ  Wink

The way you have used the needle-felted balls looks like crazy grapes. Have you thought about using some of your hand-spun wool needle-felted in as an accent?

Those brooches are lovely, especially the bluey brown swirly one.

First spinning... now felting... I look forward to seeing more of your work!

those of you in the uk can get a pretty good NF kit from www.craftynotions.com
they also sell spare needles and roving. using handspun yarns in felting really gives the project a kick, maybe i need to trade places with you and learn to spin while you learn to felt, lol!  Smiley
