Disclaimer:This is part of a slough of updates that I have been putting off for a while. I made this one last year when I was just learning to sew, so it is a little subpar as far as quality goes.

t has held up pretty well, though. I made some other ones with quilted brocade and some other fabrics. They are fun and SOOO much better than the crummy storebought ones that they charge 20 bucks for!

It is also a fun way to show off neat bright fabric remnants if you have them lying around.

Pretty much, I  made a rectangular pouch with a window in the front and a snap to keep the ipod safely secured in its pouch. I used 3 layers: a lining, a thin-gauge vinyl, and a cover. You could do it with only the cover and vinyl though.

The vinyl is nice because it is quasi-waterproofing. Long story (ask me if you care!), but my ipod got raw egg smashed all over it, but thanks to my cover, no harm done!!

The other nice thing is that the clickwheel still works through the vinyl if you use the thinnest stuff they have available (in the home decorating fabric section of your craft store.)

Happy crafting!
