Hello! My name is Yoshimi and I just joined today after lurking for a couple of days. I found this site while browsing http://Http://www.getcrafty.com.

I really appreciate the fact that there are sites like this one (which is very well designed btw) where you can share your artwork and knowledge. Thank you to all of you who play a part in this Grin

So here are some pictures of my latest artwork:

This is a vinyl record that I heated up on 200 degrees in the oven on an oven-safe bowl turned upside down. When I took it out after about 4-5 mins, I shaped it until it got stiff again. Very simple. You can use it as a bowl, you could plant a plant into it...whatever you want:)

This is a card that I made. Not too hard, all I did was find an interesting picture, cut it out and glued it to the cardstock. Kind of a morbid picture...but interesting enough for me:)

This is a coaster that I made from an old, scratched CD. You'll notice that in the next few pics I used ALOT of flat marbles...I am obsessed! The picture is a close-up of a dancing ballerina in a jewelry box--remember those?

I have two pictures of this coaster because the picture in the middle is holographic.

I think this one is my favorite one that I have made so far. The picture is cut out from an Oracle Gathering card from the party Atlantis.

Here is a picture of what a glass looks like sitting on the coaster:

This is a star shaped box that I painted and decorated. The picture on top is a cut out from the Oracle Gathering party called Behold the Buddha.

This is the inside of the box:

This is the finished product:

That's all, thanks for taking a peek:) Feel free to comment!

Very nice stuff! You used some cool images & I like the addition of the marbels on the coasters, I've not seen that done before.
