Well, thanks to some wonderful help from someone on the discussion board I have finished my first poncho!

Please excuse the color of the Bright & Lofty yarn used for the poncho.  My hubby picked that out all by himself and was so proud!  I thought it was hideous but have to admit it looks fine for an 8 year-old girl once it's worked.

The scarf is made with Coats & Clark Foxy in "aquarium", one strand held together with a dark green acrylic WW yarn -- read that tip on Craftster too and it is now the only way I'll work with any "furry" yarn!  I loved the scarf so much that I had to make one for myself too.  Mine is more narrow & doesn't have fringe & I can't wait for another cold front to reach us here in TX so that I can wear it!

I didn't mean for the poncho and scarf to be worn together! lol

nice job! I read the "help" thread about this pattern, looked tricky, glad you figured it out!!! Great colors for an 8YO! And who needs a cold front to wear a scarf??? Remember grunge??? people were wearing flannel and beanies in 80 degree weather!!! 'Tis the age of the scarf! Wear it with pride!!! Cheesy

Please use the Help Desk for moderator questions.  I'm not currently available full-time.  Thanks!

I'd love to send you some hand spun for a poppet!
