I'm looking to make fairly simple cardigans and pull over sweaters that are fairly easy enough for a beginner.  I've been to a couple craft stores in hopes of finding a pattern book, but at best I find one so-so pattern for every 10 books with sweaters.  Is there a place online I might be able to purchase and download patterns in a 2X size?

Edited to add: I'd be interested in both knit and crochet sweaters een though this is in the knitting forum.

There is a book called Big Girl Knits.  I checked mine out at the library.  I really liked the patterns.  even told you if it was suitable for your body type and directed you to a pattern if it wasn't.

The two local libraries don't carry it.  I'll have to look for it at a bookstore or LYS.

See if your library can get it from another one on Interlibrary Loan.
