Each year my family and our friends play a game at Christmas and we each have to bring a gift that is suitable for everyone so no matter who wins it, they will like it.  And since we are all rednecks (from Arkansas) I want to make a very redneck gift.  I thought about doing a sort of "redneck in a box" idea or something.  If I do the box the only things I can think of would be a can of spam, some duct tape, some tobasco sauce, some kind of dictionary or recipee book and a cd.  I still need ideas for recipees and I need alot of help with the CD.  What comes to mind for "redneck songs"?  Another problem is I don't have a really good idea of what to put it in.  So any ideas at all will be great.  And another thing, there is supposed to be a $10.00 limit but I can go over a little and no one will know.

Take a piece of wood big enought to paint "red neck windchimes" on.

Drink or have a friend drink 6 beers (no heineken or imports, please!)

Hang said empty beer cans from wood plaque with eye-screws and twine.

There ya go....

If this were my career...

haha, my redneck family plays the same game! it can get pretty vicious.
I have a couple ideas for some good redneck songs that you might want to consider. (i love country music)

Craig Morgan - "Redneck Yacht Club"
Robbie Fulks - "Countrier Than Thou"
Gretchen Wilson - "All Jacked Up"
Brad Paisley - "Alcohol"
Brad Paisley - "I'm Gonna Miss Her"
Hot Apple Pie - "Hillbillies"
Blake Shelton - "Some Beach"
Little Big Town - "Boondocks"
Sara Evans - "Suds in the Bucket"
Shooter Jennings - "Put the O Back in Country"
Shooter Jennings - "Busted in Baylor County"
Sugarland - "Down in Mississippi (And Up To No Good)"

Yeah..... I could probably go on.... but it'd take up way too much room.
I hope some of those help!

For the CD, get Jeff Foxworthy's Christmas CD, or his "You Might Be A Redneck If..." CD.  Smiley

My family plays the same game too.....it's SO much fun!

I love this idea. I am from Texas..so we is neighborin rednecks.  I wish our family would play games like this, and I wish I had some ideas for you... just type in gag gifts at google, and you will get a lot of them.  A couple of weeks ago I found this really cute teddy bear, looking all sweet and innocent, but when you squeezed his tummy he would fart or burp or throw up...yea...pretty, but I thought it was hilarious.

My redneck family plays this game as well!
One time my uncle bought $15 dollars (their limit) worth of toilet paper. That had to be ten years ago, so that was A LOT of toilet paper!!   Shocked

haha, I love this idea! This recipe immediately came to mind when I read your post.

1 c. butter
1 c. peanut butter
1 8 oz. bag chocolate chips
1 lg. box raisins
1 jar peanuts, dry roasted
1 (12 oz.) box Rice Chex
1 to 1 1/2 box confectioners' sugar

Melt together butter, peanut butter, and chocolate chips. Mix in large pan the raisins, dry roasted peanuts, and Rice Chex. Pour melted mixture over mix and stir real well until coated. Put confectioners' sugar in large white trash bag and pour in mixture. Shake, shake, shake.
