Since all I can knit is scarves, I was hoping someone out there who can knit the chicken viking hat would be willing to make that and maybe do a personal swap of sorts??? I would even be willing to just send maybe some supplies or something. I put it on my list for the wish swap, but i doubt anyone will choose it since noone has yet. Let me know via this threzd or pm. Thanks!

Things I could make would be sewn purses, knitted or crocheted scarves, beads, jewelry, candle votives, etc. Thoe kinds of things. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I'll knit your hat--send directions, please.  Also, if you have directions for knitted or crocheted beads, I'd love to see them.

Hope your holidays are going along great!

That is the link for the baby-sized version.

Here is a link for a knit-along to convert it to an adult size.

Let me know if there is anything else I can help with. thanks soooooooooo much for making this. Let me know if you need head measurements too. lol

Is there something you would like me to make for you in return???

Thanks again

I got the directions fine, will be doing the instructions as written and will likely crochet the legs (hysterically funny to consider, but then I love to make little fruit shapes and such of crocheted wire, so it's not a big deal!).

Send whatever yarn you wish for me to use.  My info is:  Susan Lightcap, 475 Skidder Way, Jasper, GA 30143.  BTW, I live on a 100 acre farm in a farm house that's 105 years old, the original having burned down in 1900 after over 100 years of as a strong 2-room log cabin.  My farm has, at this point, 4 dear cats and an equally dear dog, nary a chicken in sight.  I work at Micharl's as the event coordinator and will delight my fellow employees/crafters with the hat as it progresses.

You may make whatever you wish in return--just make it beautiful and not of synthetic anything.  This will be fun!

Can't wait to get started--
