Hey - just got in from the new Harry Potter and my future knitting project list got so much longer. Did anyone else see Ginny's bag? It's pretty blink-and-you'll-miss-it. She has it when they're on their way to the Quidditch world cup. It looks pretty simple - a front and back fair isle design with tassels across the bottom, but the top has me confused. It looks kind of similar to the Chinese Charm Bag in SnB, except gathered more and with a shoulder strap instead of handles. What's the best way to do that?? I'm going to take a stab at it, but any brilliant ideas or guidance would be greatly appreciated.  Smiley

Is there a picture of it online anywhere? I don't remember the bag in question, but if I could see it I might be able to help more.

GOF was such a fun movie!

I can't help with the knitting, but I did find some pictures of the bag online. There might be more in the screencaps section http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=317&page=14 but I couldn't find any.

btw: Although it doesn't have the bag www.the-leaky-cauldron.org also has a crafts section with different Harry Potter inspired stuff, including knitting.
