Today my Mommy turned 55. It is a sad day for me as I miss my family so much. I haven't see them in 2 years. Fortunately next spring I will have enough money to go back in France visit them. I was my brother birthday too (25), I have posted his gift in the toys board (a little house in felt).

So for the tunique it was like a custom order! My mom has look for this kind od tunique everywhere even in North Africa and never succeed in finding one, so I made one! I hope it will fit right and she will like it. It is very simple but I'm happy how elegant it turned out! Let me know what you think!

I am sure she will love it! The detail is amazing. I am learning to expect seeing it in all of your work!
What a special gift of beauty to your mother.

oh thank you very much! My mom is terrible. I always try to give her the best gift on earth, and she is like I don't like it when I give it to her or making a weird face, months after she tells me how beautiful and perfect it is and she is always looking at it and everything! Silly Mommy! But it's a lot different now since we don't see eachother and miss eachother a lot.
MissMeshell  I can draw you a quick pattern if you want, but you would have to remember me, I'm quite busy now.
junquette Tnak you dear! What can I say, evil in in the details!  Wink
But, why is the rum gone?

I absolutely love these shirts, it would be absolutely beautiful if you would post a pattern, as the tunic you made is one of the best I've seen, professionally or otherwise.

Amazing shirt, I hope your mom appreciates it

Cloverdragon Thank you very much! It was the first time for me doing this kind of tunique. I will post a pattern next week.
laura99 Thanx! I just made it as it was going. I've look at pictures I found on internet and I have a pretty sharp idea of what I wanted. It's not difficult at all though. I never have drawn a pattern except indications for myself. So I hope it will be "readable"!  Grin

I think the tunic is gorgeous. I hope you can go home soon.  I would miss my family so much if I was in another country, I feel so bad for you.
