I got this tree at the .99 cents store and wondered what I was going to do with it.  Here's what I thought up.  I took pieces of all the acrylic or cotton in my yarn stash (none of my good wool LOL), made lil ball ornaments and put them on the tree. The star is made of Fimo clay. I also used silver and red lanyard as trimming.

It's not entirely knitting but it involves wool  Cheesy

Cute!

I've been meaning to knit an entire tree (cornered the market on kelly green funfur) for a Merry Kitsch-mas, but your project is way more do-able.... Undecided

What shall I decorate with this year?
