this is my firsty post...hopefully i did everything right.

ok so i am a huge Whedon Fangirl i admit it and so are my friends

so when i inherited these half knitted longies i became obssessed. this is the only the first step.

I'm gonna make a matching Jayne hat, embroider "time for some thrilling heroics" (or another short Jayne quote) on the bum, and if i can find the right ls tee make a sorta jayne-ish top to go with it..so it is a set Tongue

i think if i had another one to make i would do the cuff in seed stitch so that the cuff is straight

and if i could sew i admit i would make some black leather soft soled shoes to go with it Tongue

please forgive my blechy much toddler stained couch. we are have been shopping for a cover for it. lol but in the mean time you have to see the couch

You know, I read the title and thought... Jayne longies? Yeah, I could use a pair of those to go with my Jayne hat. For some reason, I was expecting adult-sized. I was imagining me, sporting orange, yellow, and rust longjohns around the house (with pom pons on the drawstring).

Maybe it's just cold in this house. Or maybe I'm weird.  Tongue

Your baby-sized longjohns are super cute, tho!

Any "Jayne" or Firefly knitting makes me smile. Add a cute baby, and I'm a goner!

I love it. Your babe is getting big, and those longies are gorgeous.
