So...there are no sewing machines at your school?  And she can't use a machine at all?  Or do you just mean that she's only taught hand sewing thus far?

Her sewing isn't very sturdy, I mean she can't really sew, so I don't want to really be taught by her.  I'm in middle school, and we can't ahve anything sharp (exept for compasses for geometry) so we don't have any sewing machines or needles.
