the sad part is, i might actually remember to tell you.
for some reason, i've been given this really good memory, but when i remember weird things, people look at me like i'm some sort of stalker.
and apparently, in the world outside craftster, stalkers aren't a good thing...  Undecided

So I got home last night and there was a package in my mailbox! Yay!  My wish of "fat quarters so I can start building a quilting fabric stash" was granted by the lovely orange_sunset!  Eight great fat quarters in some of my favourte colours (blues, purples) and great patterns- THANK YOU, orange_sunset! I will definitely use them, in fact, I have a quilt I'm working on right now that I think some of these would be perfect for. I feel like a real quilter now that I actually have fabric of my own!  Cheesy Up until now i have been raiding my friend's stash like a fiend.  I was sitting on the couch last night with my new fabric in my lap 'cause i liked it so much!   Cheesy I probably couldn't admit that anywhere but on craftster!

thanks again! I will post pics this weekend.  Grin

::grin:: I'm really glad you liked it!

Edit: was asked to post a photo.

The square ones are from a Joann's out here in CO and the round ones are from a quilting store in Holdrege, Nebraska. (reeeeeally small town Smiley )

I really do! And I'm thinking.... you gave me star fabrics... and I'm making a quilt with star blocks... so I could have stars in the star blocks- how cool is that?  Smiley

That is awsome! You should send me photos of your quilt when you're done! I'm working on a crazy quilt for my mother at the moment... Smiley It's... Crazy.
