After September 11, we started this impromptu collage on the wall at my house with various photos of horrible atrocities, like mean soldiers and mean muslims...mostly mean soldiers... I took it down though because the newsprint was yellowing, so I wanted to make more of a permanent anti-war statment since I am the ultimate pacifist... this is a shelf that is going to go up on my telephone stand... I think it's pretty cool, my mom doesn't... but that's the point

Wow, that's pretty powerful. Good job. As an activist, I think the best way to get people to understand war is to show them what it Really looks like. I'm impressed.

OK finished project:  This table was all dark "woodgrain" from the 80s, so I painted it glossy glossy black and then podgied on all this stuff using my endless supply of maxim harper's and macleans magazines...yes, I am a news junkie...
