I embroidered these pillow cases for friends who were getting married. It was an easy project that I'm surprised to say was really, really appreciated by the couple. See how when you put the pillows side by side they look like they are holding hands? I even guessed their sides of the bed correctly!

Cute pillows, and great idea.

(as a side note, your banner reply was a bit harsh, twynk.)

I'm sorry Poppysmum.  That picture is a "standard" on another forum I frequent and is meant as a, "Dude, where's my picture!?!" smiley, not one to be offensive.  I forgot that not all forums are the same and what may be an accepted joke in one place might not be in another.

Upon re-looking at the smileys, I can certainly see how it could be taken the wrong way.

*apologizes profusely*

The pillowcases are adorable and I'm sure they'll be loved for years to come!

Such a fantastic and one-of-a-kind gift, no wonder they loved them!

I think it's brilliant that they're done as young kids would draw them. Though I should probably be concerned that the boy looks like my boyfriend shouldn't I?!

Awww Twynk, thanks for the apology! Craftster is pretty much the only place I hang out so I don't really know how other forums work. Let's forget about it & be friends! Kiss

Those are so cute!  I love the idea of two pieces 'joining' together like that.

I read your manifestos and strange religious tracts.  You took me to your library and kissed me in the stacks.
