The icord looks great!  And the fit looks to be perfect.  Great job, landry!

And I highly recommend Sierra for this project.  For a s/m it takes 2 skeins, 3 for a l/xl.  I have made three of these in Sierra, and it blocks and wears really well for the price.

I finished my first one a while back but was hoping to finsh my second one so I could post them together and show improvement. Alas, the second one is killing me.

Here is the first, gross, red heart acrylic one. No, you really can't see the increases.

Thanks, guys.  Smiley  I do agree that Sierra was great for this project. I used 2 skeins and I usually wear size S or M, so yeah, I think 3 balls is appropriate for larger sizes.

Lexer - I like whatever you used as a fastener.  What did you use?  It's cute!  Post pics of your second one too.

Thinking about making one of these in a spring/summer weight.  I see that others are using worsted weights, but what fibre content are you using?  I was looking at Elann, and they have some awesome stuff coming in like cotton linen blends, and a nice looking cotton acrylic blend.  They also have the Rowan Linen Print which would be the same guage as the original pattern, but I just can't picture wearing *that* weight in the summer.  I'm a great knitter, but I have a LOT to learn about yarn!!!

I finally got around to taking pics of mine!  (Excuse my lousy self-photography!)  It still needs blocking, and in normal light the color isn't such a Barney shade of purple:

OMG.  This one is my fav-o-rite!  Excellent job, kit-kit.

P.S.  Do you think that if we added some more stitches in the back that we could make this a shirt???  Maybe with buttons all the way down, like cardi-style?   What does everyone think???  I love it.  What color (number) is the Noro?
