Sadly I frightened a small child when I was passing out candy but had a great time (and fit right in) at the Dresden Doll's Concert on Monday (In Boston)

I was a gothic (lolita) doll. I made the corset, skirt, and hair bow.  Grin

It was great fun. ^_^

This year my husband and I went as Old School WILLY WONKA and VIOLET as the blueberry.

I made Willy's coat, hat, and bow tie. Here's my husband as Willy Wonka.

I was Violet when she turned into the blueberry.  I bought an inflatable ballerina costume on clearance last year.  I spray painted it blue. Watching me sit down was a funny site.

Here I am as Violet with a coworker in my husband's costume.  Our students loved our costumes.

I haven't posted any pictures on craftster yet, so I hope this works. My friend was a zombie for this zombie march...I'm new to the city so I can't really tell you anything about it except people dress up as zombies and march around..haha. Anyways, his girlfriend did all this with 2 kinds of fake blood, fake skin and make up. She's absolutely incredible. It took her almost 2 and a 1/2 hours and they didn't even go out anywhere Halloween night! But without further ado:

I need to know how you made that marge wig. I've been attempting to make Marge for years, but the wig never looked right.

Here are my hubby and my costumes for this year (they were posted somewhere else earlier on craftster)

He was TitHead from Little Nicky and I was the Kiss of Death
We made the boobs, the robe, my costume, etc...

Here's a better pic of his head

Here is a pic of my kids trick or treating. I made or altered pretty much everything except regular clothes (Oh, the girl is my niece, but she lives with us, so she's one of my kids too Smiley )

My oldest (Levi 9) was a zombie with an ax in his head, my middle (Liam 6) was a demon, my youngest (Lore 4) was a garbage can, [he picked out the costume and told us where to cut the garbage can and everything]. My niece (Jorden almost 2) was a little devil.
Here is another pic of my youngest in his garbage can at school

He loved to crouch down, then when people would walk by, he'd jump up and scare them!
My oldest couldn't wear his costume to school (No blood, gore, weapons, meaty flesh, etc... rule) so he was a last minute q-tip. Costume was all of 15 minutes to put together, and cost about $1 plus some garbage.

Sorry for tons of pictures

Everyone's costumes look so amazing, and it looks like a good time was had by all.
I almost ended up in the last-minute toga again this year-- too much time looking at the pictures here and good old fashioned procrastination.  but I finally finished my kill bill suit with $5.00 wig-- so natural!

Here are my beutiful girls.  I made everything from scratch without a pattern...even the wings.  I love making their costumes...it's so rewarding.  Hope you like them.
