These were just for fun- but given the time of year, are appropriate for xmas trees... but I just made the loops to sort of hang around on things!

The little faces are hand embroidered. They vary from 4.5 to 6 cm tall. Like fat little thumbs!

Those are cute! When I was little I made something kind of similar out of felt, tiny little babies for my (mom's) doll house.  It's funny because I was just thinking of those babies last night, trying to remember if they had arms.
I used to love doing french knot hair.

I have a wee baby with a more detailed face than that, but it looks mostly the same. She's glued into a milkweed husk and hung from that on the tree. That way it looks like a baby in a little basket. Someone made them for my sister and I when we were quite wee. I'd post a photo, but the ornament is in Maine at my mom's house, all the way across the country from me.
