What does Gauge 4 mean? A few of the yarns I'm looking at say "Gauge 4" and that's the only gauge info.... Thanks!

I wondered about that too.
What I did was send them an inquiry asking them what the gauge on x yarn is.  They usually reply the next day.

There is a standard yarn weight system. 1-being super fine... 6- being super bulky. some yarns put this number on the label in the middle of a little picture of a ball of yarn. #4 is medium weight yarn, like aran weight or worsted, 16-20 sts = 4". Maybe it was referring to that.

no problem, I had this question a few weeks ago and emailed them to figure out the differences between some of the  yarns.  thats when I found out the answer to the mysterious gauge and now I share the secret with you : )
