Before I went away for the weekend, I saw Skullseamstress's fantastic Goth Stripey Sleeves https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=51616.0 and was inspired by the shape of it.

Not having the patience to do something with so much crochet (!) I came up with my own version:

The front

The back

The sleeves end in a point with a loop round my middle finger:

It took me about 5 hours total to do, most of which was on trains going from Manchester to Birmingham & back.  It's all done in treble and chain, with about 1 & a half balls (<75g) of Sirdar Snowflake in Dark Heather, which I picked up for 55p a ball.  The colour is actually a lot more lilac than it cam eout in the photos.

My mum has given me 3 balls of Sirdar Snowflake fashion in variegated pink, so I'm going to do one for my sister, but without the finger loops.

I really like the shape of that- I made a shrug myself this weekend but like you did a more 'open' pattern cos I didn't have the patience to sc it all (plus I wanted it finished for the weekend).
